8501 is the first of a long line of locomotives stored along the old Binnaway line at Werris Creek.

When the class finally got into the Freightrail Blue livery, the work was shared between their Lansdowne (near Taree) and Broadmeadow locations.

The often asked question is regarding the unusual track in front of 8503.
 It was a weighbridge for the former Rozelle yard.

8504 has been left in Taree yard. Yard shunter 4482 will soon take her to nearby Lansdowne for repainting into the Freightrail Blue livery.
