'Australian Locomotive Rosters' was first started by Brad Peadon and Daven Walters in 2000. It took the form of a book that we had published through Railmac. This website is compiled by Brad Peadon, in a joint effort with Bradly Coulter and Daven Walters. Recently we trialed some fleetlists on the main 'Semi Retired Foamer' website. Such was the popularity, we have decided to move them to their own site. Initially, we will be sticking with the SRF theme of covering locomotive types that were around in the 80s and 90s. This may be expanded in the future.

Now Open: 'Australian Locomotive Rosters' group. This will be a contributor only group to both share latest fleet changes and help us to update..

NSW: 81 class and older.
Queensland: 2800 class and older.
V/Line: G class and older.
South Australia: AN class and older.

NSW Reverse Livery

The New South Wales Railways introduced a modified version of the original Indian livery in 1979 (1st loco was 4465) in an effort to improve locomotive visibility, this new livery was known as the Reverse or yellow ended livery, which involved and all over Indian red body with yellow ends, with the yellow extending around the sides of the units to usually either the cab windows or door, this yellow area being broken up by the application of the wings in indian red seen prior on the original livery in yellow, the livery extended to Railcars aswell. This livery didn't last long being replaced by the SRA Candy livery from 1982.
Only 1 class of loco was delivered to service in this livery that being the extra 20 x 80 class (8031-8050).
The following locomotives carried the Reverse livery.
